Run for St Liz!

I've been a teacher at St. Elizabeth High School for the past 9 years.  I love working here.  I'm proud to work with such a wonderful group of young men and women.

This year I decided to combine two of my favorite things:  teaching and running.  We've partnered up with Running for a Better Oakland to train our students to run the Oakland Running Festival's Half Marathon March 24!  This will be a fundraiser for the school but most of all it will be about doing something different, outside our comfort zone.  Some students have never run outside of a P.E. class.  This is huge.

I'm so excited.  We are in the recruiting stages of students now.  Once we have our group formed I'll post profiles of them on here and keep you up to date with our training schedule.  This is going to be awesome.

Join the stampede - the Mustangs are on the run!
